Deciding between Xfinity and Verizon 5G Home Internet. I’m a little over 2 weeks into my trial with Verizon 5G home and I am quite impressed. I consistently get 300+mbps down and ~18mbps up. Since I am in my trial period, I still have xfinity which is $75/month (about to go up to 85 in a month after the year promo pricing ends) for 800mbps down.Some areas are starting to get Yomura Fiber, which is better than AT&T and Google. Their contention ratio is much lower, which means less customers are competing for bandwidth on a single GPON leg.
